Ed Dunlop - WAHCHI (3, NASHWAN - Nafhaat)

"He won his second and final race over a mile at Doncaster and as he's got plenty of stamina in his pedigree I'll start him off in a Derby trial. He's a really neat and a good mover."

John Dunlop - INVINCIBLE SPIRIT (5, GREEN DESERT - Rafha)

"He loves and acts on really fast ground and granted the luck sprinters need should pick up some decent prizes".

SUNRAY SUPERSTAR (GB), b f, 3, NASHWAN ex. Nazoo owned by Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid al Maktoum, bred by Gainsborough and trained by Sir Michael Stoute.

"In the October Leicester maiden that launched the career of her illustrious stable companion Petrushka, SUNRAY SUPERSTAR spent the first six of the seven furlongs learning what the job was about. In the final furlong the penny dropped and she quickened dramatically, cutting down the leader before failing by a short head to get up. Her power-packed finish left an indelible impression and she will not be a maiden for long. Being a full sister to last year's G1 Prix Saint-Alary winner and G1 Prix de Daine Hermes (French Oaks) runner-up NADIA, she is bred for middle distances, yet showed such startling pace on her only start it would be no surprise to see her tried over shorter, particularly as her dam was a winner over six furlongs. She appears something very special."

AHSANABAD (IRE), c, 3, MUHTARRAM (USA) ex. Asmara owned and bred by H H The Aga Khan and trained by John Oxx.

"Out of a half-sister to the G1 Prix Ganay winner ASTARABAD, he was fourth in the competitive Curragh maiden won by Sholokhov on his debut in July. He met another smart O'Brien performer when second to Maryinsky in a similar event at Gowran Park three months later. It did not take too much effort to get off the mark at Fairyhouse later that month earning favourable comments from his understated trainer. He appears a decent type for middle distances this year."

CANYON LILLY was the fourth maiden winner this year for ERHAAB, the filly finished clear in a field of 14 runners at the Hanshi racecourse in Japan.
