SAKHEE makes an extraordinary start

Shadwell are please to announce that SAKHEE has made a quite exceptional start to his career at stud. He has had ten mares scanned to date and has achieved a remarkable 100% strike rate with all ten in foal.

The mares in question include Bloomsbury Stud's GOLD DODGER; listed winner and Coronation Stakes third DOLORES, and Shadwell's own listed winning mare HAWRIYAH, a half sister to LAHIB.

He suffered a minor interruption to his schedule due to receiving a kick to his sheath whilst covering. The damage was slight but our vets advised against covering for a week. He has now made a full recovery however, and bookings were taken once again as of today.

SAKHEE is proving to be a pleasure to deal with in every way, with a wonderful attitude, and all at Shadwell are hopeful that this is just the start of a long and distinguished career.
