First mares in foal for NAYEF and STORMING HOME

Both of Shadwell's first season sires have made a successful start to their stallion careers, with a number of mare testing in foal in the last few weeks.

Among those scanned positive for NAYEF is MOON'S WHISPER, a daughter (by STORM CAT) of the triple group 1 winning mare EAST OF THE MOON.

Triple Gr.1 winner STORMING HOME has had his first three mares safely scanned in foal. The trio include Gainsborough Stud's CRIQUETTE (SHIRLEY HEIGHTS), a Stakes winner as a juvenile and a full-sister to Gr.2-placed AHEAD (dam of the multiple Graded Stakes winner HORATIO) and a half-sister to Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes victor MARKOFDISTINCTION (KNOWN FACT).
