MUJAHID, who will have his first two-year-old runners this spring, is well represented at the increasingly popular 'breeze-up' sales this month.
Doncaster's sale takes place on the 7th & 8th of April, with all lots due to breeze-up on the racecourse on Tuesday the 6th. Five colts and one filly are entered for MUJAHID,
notably Lot 174, a colt out of the winning mare AGONY AUNT. He will be consigned by the leading breeze-up producer Willie Browne, from his Mocklershill yard, and was a 21,000gns purchase at the St. Leger sales last September.
Others to note are lot 170, a colt out the five time winning mare PRIMARY COLOURS, consigned by Trickledown Stud, and lot 213, a colt out of GOLD LINNET, a three time winner, consigned by Parsonage Stud.
Two represent him the following week at Tattersalls in Newmarket. Again, all lots will breeze-up on the racecourse the day before the sale, which then takes place on the 14th and 15th of April. A gelding and a colt are on offer, again both are out of winning mares, QUILT and BLUE NILE, and are consigned by Torard House Stud and Yeomanstown Stud respectively.
These sales are likely to be the first public sightings of MUJAHID progeny under saddle. Gallop reports over the winter have been extremely positive, with many leading trainers having a MUJAHID two-year-old in their yard.
Whilst the stallion is full for 2004, Shadwell representatives will be in attendance so please approach them if you have any queries, or would like to book early for 2005.
