Group 1 victory for Satwa Queen in the Prix de l'Opéra

Satwa Queen rallied between horses to win the Prix de l'Opéra (Gr1) at Longchamp on Sunday, improving on her second-place in last year's race. She got the best of Promising Lead and Legerete, as just two heads separated the first three. Satwa Queen had been brought up to the Opéra with three prep races, the most recent of which was a short head victory in the Prix Jean Romanet (Gr2) at Deauville in August. Her trainer Jean de Roualle is considering a return to Sha Tin for the Hong Kong Cup.
