HOLIDAYEND a winner for NAYEF on the White Turf at St. Moritz

Posted on: 20th Feb 2017

HOLIDAYEND (IRE) was a winner for NAYEF on his second outing on the White Turf on Sunday.

HOLIDAYEND (IRE) was victorious in the Grosser Preis Christoffel Bau Trophy (6.5f) on the unique frozen racing circuit at St. Moritz, Switzerland on Sunday February 19th.

Trained by Miroslav Weiss and ridden by Dennis Shiergen, it was only the second ever outing for HOLIDAYEND. The 5-year-old son of NAYEF out of the DANEHILL DANCER mare I HEARYOU KNOCKING (IRE) comfortably beat stablemate FOOTPRINTINTHESAND (IRE) by just under 2 lengths. It was a progressive run from his first outing, where he finished 3rd at St. Moritz earlier this month.

St. Moritz hosts three meetings a year each February, where the action takes place in breath-taking surroundings that attracts many horses from the UK and the rest of Europe.

HOLIDAYEND is already the 7th winner to date for NAYEF in 2017. NAYEF stands at the Nunnery Stud in 2017 for a fee of £5,000 (1st January SLF).
