SNOW SKY (Nayef) provided trainer Sir Michael Stoute with back to back wins in the Betway Yorkshire Cup and provided the watching race-goers with a nail-biting finish to this Gr.2 contest over 1m6f.

SNOW SKY always looked like he had the slight advantage but had to battle hard to regain his lead in the closing stages and fend off the impressive BROWN PANTHER.

Sir Michael was plead with the performance and hopes that an international agenda might be forthcoming for the Juddmonte Farms Ltd bred son of NAYEF. He told the Racing Post: “I am delighted with him,” he said. “He’s very courageous and digs deep. I think a mile and six is his trip and he is effective over a mile and a half. I think I'd like to finish up in Melbourne. I think it would be worth throwing a dart. We need to stop and think where we are going to programme him now.”
